Kakougan May Expo

just got back yestarday from London while attending the London MCM Expo. We didn't really have much care for this expo since the past one October 2008 expo didn't go to well.We had been rather skeptic on how things would roll out this weekend; It was boiling hot on Friday after we left our friends house in Hertfordshire to travel to London to meet a few other people before heading of to the hotel. Being split up after check in we all got to rest for a while before we had to go raid Asda for food and stuff. The start of Friday had just felt like a blank since it was so hot but I think once we set in to getting ready for the pre-cosplay trip to Wagamama's it had started to get little fun even though some of the others didn't come in the end as they had some cosplay things to attend too.
The meal was good overall but was rather stuffing and when it came to going to Japan Center it was shut! So we all split from the other people we had met to return back to the hotel, none of us could be assed changing in to full cosplay and hang around hotel until we got back and seen like an entire army of other bleachers ect outside. The fact our other group of friends was the first thing we spotted from turning the corner was like switch turned on making the Arrancar cosplay happen on Friday night. The fact we hadn't even touched a drink; both of us must have been on a cosplay rush that night as we got to know the others a little better.
Saturday was Prince of Tennis day for us two but we had been a little anxious the fact the meet organizer hadn't contacted us about times for photoshoots and stuff. Luckily we had came across a few other PoT cosplayers but we didn't do anything but eventually two others joined in and we went to the bridge for a few photos.
Saturday Night.... um how can I put this? We got "absolutely Car parked" (Micheal McIntyre joke) Seriously we were bad after downing an entire bottle of sake and other stuff while the others did the Bleach dinner before we held the surprise cake for Aizens Birthday. The cake was awesome but unfortunately Gin's haori got chocolate on it... after getting advice from Spoony we ran back to the room to use toothpaste on it before it stained it badly. Nothing we'll forget soon spending 20 minutes scrubbing it clear. We ditched the haori's before anymore damage was done and headed back down to the others before enduring a drinking game which lasted to late hours. Drinking all that alcohol before hand hadn't helped much as the games rules were rather confusing to us but funny. "FISH" its a rule from Hitsugaya! while Gin had to rape a sofa... yes.. a sofa. Not literally though!. We headed off to bed at 2am since the Sunday cosplays were going to take some time to put on specially =ShadowChan's Ulquiorra makeup and =Fighting-Fox to tie the obi belt.
5am wake up call and still drunk wasn't good but I was itching to get the alcohol taste out..specially the beer that was added to the punch you had to drink if you got a certain card. Blurgh.Two hours later of trying to sleep the dying feeling off was hopeless and decided to get make up done for espada number four. It was a hellish experince and Gin turned out whiter than what I was by the time she had awaken. No one was in the mood to even speak, be hugged/glomped by anyone in the morning. Some of the others had been feeling totally rough and I expected it to be a day of biting heads off if anyone dared ask for picture xDD;. Once we had food and drink endured in to our systems it gave some life back to Aizen's army as we headed off to what was a short fast track line as we didn't leave early for it like planned. Looked around the MCM expo its self before making off to the Bleach meet which was awesome but sneaked away half way to get some picture of our own.
Sunday night wasn't all that cosplay related as by the end of the day our feet had been dead from walking so much and was just wanting to rest which was needed to badly after Saturday night. We had some pizza later with the others before some headed off to bed and some headed downstairs for a bit.
Monday morning was a case of packing and sadly both of us had to leave early in the morning before the others did since we had to get to Heathrow before 1pm and being a bank holiday there some engineering works had been taken place on the underground so we had to endure buses. It seemed to be some quick goodbyes until Aizen and Starkys room as it was a case of us being like "No we don't want to goo..." expo sort of thing and just kept yapping for an other half hour or something before we did finally leave.
Overall like I've said before what had been a skeptic weekend had turned out to be the best of the best for us out of nearly all the expo's we've been to in the past and I'm glad it turned out to be awesome being with everyone else even with Saturday being a little boring the Bleach cosplay at nights and Sunday was well worth its while.
Might be plans of going to Ayacon in August but that's just in the talking factor just now. Would be awesome to go to something different even though we are use to the MCM Expo's but seeing the others half way through the strenuous wait until October would be cool and maybe Bleach it up.
